Once the equipment, custom stainless steel fixtures, millwork fixtures and any special features are identified in the schematic / preliminary layout, we develop line item cost estimates for owner review. Estimates are based on actual market conditions and are broken down by line item to include all related and associated costs with purchasing and installing the specified items. These figures include the item itself and the associated soft costs such as warehousing and consolidation fees, freight and transportation fees, setting-in-place and installation fees, sales tax, and the like. The purpose of these budgets and estimates is to reconcile the schematic / preliminary design to a realistic construction budget for owner approval before the design development phase begins.
